A tattered banner reading “Barberry’s Babbles” hangs above Barberry’s head, who is squinting happily down at Grapevine which is crawling up her leg. She says, “aw, they like me!” The title reads “What is the Grapevine? pt. 2″.
Barberry gestures at Rosemary, who looks over her shoulder at the reader dismissively with a wave. “Rosemary planted the Grapevine!” Barberry says. “Still do,” adds Rosemary.
Rosemary continues to narrate over a panel of a younger her holding seeds and smiling at a crop of Grapevine. “I started 2000 years ago, give or take.”
Rosemary continues, this time over a panel of Venus holding seeds and looking at her own crop of Grapevine. “course, now I enlist scouts to help out.”
Cut to an extreme close up of Barberry, who asks Rosemary, “must get kinda loud since you have to listen to it all day, huh!”
A dark panel of Rosemary in shadow, listening as many voices in the dark surround her from the Grapevine.
“Nah, it’s basically fine,” she concludes to Barberry bluntly.
I came here to check out a few pages, then I read the first chapter, then the whole thing. Incredible work you've done, from the lore, the characters, the art -- all of it is really captivating. I'm a big fan of Sage and his solid vibes. Looking forward to more, whenever it's ready!
